The track proved happy hunting ground for Chase Randall, who celebrated back-to-back wins during the 360LS 10k Shootout.

After an intense A-Main, which kept the crowd on its toes, Randall took the chequered flag ahead of Lockie McHugh, with Daniel Pestka rounding out the top three.

The Super Rods also turned it on for the crowd, again providing a great spectacle for race enthusiast of all ages.

Stan Marco Jnr celebrated a hard-fought win, while Jamie May (second) and Gerrad Mabbit (third) completed the podium.

The junior sedan drivers continue to show great form and enthusiasm, with the talented Jayden Garner taking out first place, followed by Flynn Annett in second and Max Leersen third.

Racing action will return to Simpson Speedway on Friday, February 14 for the running of the AWS Wingless series and vintage Sprintcars.

The following night, Saturday February 15, will see the 360LS Sprintcars back on track, along with the running of the Super Rods’ Trevor Podger Memorial.

Gates open at 5pm with racing from 6pm.
