Veterans complete at Timboon
A STRONG field contested the last round of Corangamite Veterans Golf at the Timboon course.
The event, held last Tuesday, April 23, was won by Michael Heker from Inverleigh on 41 points.
Runner-up in the A grade competition was Timboon’s John Bertrum on 38 points, with Peter Brain from Birre 37 points on countback.
B grade was won by Bill Spencer from Winchelsea on 41 points, followed by East Framlingham’s Terry Coolahan 37 on countback from Stacey Thomas of Apollo Bay on 37.
Terang’s Colin Venn won C grade on 39 points from Birre’s John Lyons on 38, with Greg Trotter (Colac) third on 38.

NAGA – A grade Steve Plozza on 25 points, B grade Steve Hubbard on 24 and C grade Stan Berry on 17 points.
